It is better because you will be doing your masters and the salary package is also high compared to salary package after doing b.tech.

You are eligible for engineering but with this jEE score,it is hard to get admission in government institutes but you can apply for admissions in premier private colleges that are doing equally good and provide assured placements.here are some of the institutes where you may get admission:

* Job prospects after completing Aircraft Maintenance Engineering :
- Diploma holders in Aeronautics work as technicians in the Engineering department. Employment is available with Air India, Pawan Hans, Helicopter Corporation of India and flying clubs, private airlines and government-owned air service.
- Airlines Aeronautical Mechanics get employment in organisations such as Hindustan Aeronautical Ltd, Defence Research and Development Laboratories, National Aeronautical Lab, Aeronautical Develop¬ment Establishment, Civil Aviation Department etc.
