As far as job opportunities are considered B.Tech would have an upper hand if done from a reputed institute like IIT, NIT, Lovely professional University, SRM university etc.But if you would like to go for Higher studies and you don't want to pursue engineering you can choose B.Sc. . It will be a time consuming process then.
