No issues I am too a 2017 batch passed out engineer and without work experience have taken CAT and then into MDI now. So, give your best in CAT and then choose your dream B-School for your PGPM.

Hello Vishal,
Unlike NEET exam for entry to medical colleges, engineering students have to appear for many different entrance exams. Primarily, you need to appear for the entrance exam that your state demands for admission to engineering colleges then you need to appear for JEE Mains for getting admission into NIT is for CFTI's then you can also appear for entrance exams conducted by different Deemed to be universities having engineering colleges or private unaided colleges which also conduct their own exam. IO would suggest you opt for Thiagarajar College of Engineering as this college is better than SSN in every respect that is in terms of placements, infra and also the faculty is far better than SSN.

See, in the mechanical branch, you can't get placements other than from your college as it is very hard to find that but as a electronics engineer you can easily grab a good job and also the promotion in this filed is also quite good.

Go for engineering in CS branch there you will be taught android app development. You can easily learn to make crazy apps. If you don't want to do engineering and you are already good at programming then look out for a coaching and do an app development course.

To be clear, you will not be called as an engineer. You will be called a student who has just completed the certification. To be honest, nowadays the competition so tough that even the students who are completing their 4-year degree course, i.e. engineers are struggling to get jobs. Also, the vacancies in this field are generated less in number. So, think that if an engineer applies for the same post you are applying with only one year course, who will get importance? Yes, you can take a year drop and can apply for the Indian Navy and Indian Army this year only through the TES scheme. You will directly get admission for B.Tech in navy and army colleges respectively.
