You must pursue B.Tech in robotics followed by M.Tech in the same. You must select robotics with automation or any specialisation you want to pursue. For this, you must go with JEE Mains and qualify it with very good marks so that you get a seat in IIT. Since only IIT have experienced faculty with the infrastructure required for this kind of branch. Other private college does not have any experienced faculty members for robotics engineering. Also, the equipment required is not available in the private college And hence, students cannot learn much practically as well as theoretically.

You opted for a very good branch. To achieve this, you must qualify with very good marks in JEE Mains so that you can secure your seat in an IIT as in this, only you will be able to complete your course with knowledge and as well as great skills. Many private colleges also offer this course but they are not reliable and authentic and also, the machine or the faculty members which are required are not available in these private colleges. IIT has great faculty members and placement too. Just go for it.
Best of luck.

For JEE, maximum weightage is taken from 12th when compared to 11th in CBSE. If your 12th score is not enough for JEE weightage then you need to score little more in JEE Mains. This could help you in getting a seat in technological colleges.

Your question is not clear but by gist I could guess you are talking about not giving any entrance exam for engineering. Yes sure you can, there are many private college where you can get admission without any entrance exam but mostly they are not so good, if you have adequate money you can also opt for management quota seat in various private college like VIT, SRM etc. But if you can you should give entrance exam it would be much better for you. Your chances would increase and you could get a better college on your own.

If you are asking for JEE Mains then you are very late for that. The application deadline is already over. 8 April is the examination date. Even VIT and SRM registrations are closed. The only thing you can do now is to approach to a private college and go through management quota as all the good colleges have closed their application. If you would have given JEE Main then there were opportunities.
Good luck.

Hi,
You can choose whichever field you want. You will be given time to get acquainted with all the streams and then you'll be asked to choose your field based on your preference. Although since you have the sales background, marketing makes more sense though not necessarily.
