Yes you can definitely pursue B.Tech through lateral entry, you can go ahead if you qualify the below eligibility condition I. e. Pass with 60% aggregate marks in Diploma (engineering. ). (any stream) (3 years after 10th or 2 years after 10+2 (Non Medical) or B.Sc. (Non-Medical) or B.Sc. (Computer Science) or BCA or equivalent. If you qualify the above mentioned criteria you are eligible. Also you can avail scholarships basis your academic score and by qualifying exam conducted by LPU called LPU NEST.
