Yes, VIT, Mumbai has a lateral entry admission. The eligibility conditions are:
(I) The Candidate should be an Indian National
(ii) Passed Diploma Course in Engineering and Technology with at least 45% marks (40% marks in case of candidates of Backward class categories and Persons with Disability belonging to Maharashtra State only) in appropriate branch of Engineering and Technology from an All India Council for Technical Education or Central or State Government approved Institution or its equivalent. There is no lateral entry admissions into VIT University that is direct admission in the second year. The admission for undergraduate courses are based on the ranks secured in VITEEE exam conducted in the month of April every year.

Yes, you can take admission in DTU for B.Tech lateral entry program, but you need to clear the LEET exam for which application will be out in July.
