If you have done your Diploma then you can get admission in Lateral Entry Eligibility Criteria is
Pass with 60% aggregate marks in Diploma (engineering. ). (any stream) 3 years after 10th or 2 years. After 10+2 (Non-Medical) or B.Sc. (Non-Medical) or B.Sc. (Computer Science) or equivalent. ME B.Tech is perfectly fine here in the terms of academics and placements. For B.Tech in any field placements are really upto the mark. LPU is good for Mechatronics. Good placements in core company, internship assistance, other than participating different events like go kart, project expo, entertainment events like one india, one world etc. Practical based learning and valuable guest lectures also. I have done my engineering from LPU and had many friends in B.Tech Mechatronics as well. Once I had also participated in Go Kart Championship with Mechatronics students, I had great experience with Mechatronics faculty. I also remember many of my friends got campus placements as well and that too in core company. LPU provides ample opportunities to each and every of the eligible students to secure good placement.
