Getting admission in MCA through lateral entry is a very good decision. The great part of lateral entry is that it will save your 1 precious year and it will make you job ready. The good institutes which offer lateral entry in MCA are:
(1) Amity University, Noida – This indeed is a good university for learning computer applications. Its placement index is also high. For lateral entry admission you have to clear through a certain entrance test.

By simply applying in the LEET, you can get admission in any college. If you have more than 70% marks, you can simply apply in any college & get a scholarship.

You can take admission without any problem by simply giving LEET (EXAM). But at the time of admission in any college, you should have qualification certificate (6th sem mark-sheet) as a proof that you have completed your diploma.

*One must have completed his 1st year without any backlog/reappear.
*One should have the minimum percentage required in eligibility qualification of current year (in which student is seeking migration) .
*Student has to submit Migration certificate and Character certificate from head of present institute / university from which he/she is migrating.
*Mapping of transcripts is done and for this one has to pay mapping charges . If this goes well and there are no issues in mapping , one can join the university.

The students who have scored 60% and above in the Diploma in engineering course from State Board of Technical Education or any other recognized institution can apply for the graduation program.
Only a pass in Diploma is enough for the students from backward communities.
Final year candidates are also eligible to attend the test.
How to prepare:
Revise the subjects you have studied in your diploma course.
It is fully based on Diploma course and Mathematics is based on 11the and 12th class so you should concentrate on it and try to solve previous year's papers.
