There is no lateral entry admission in SRM University and the admission in undergraduate programs is through SRMJEE examination only. The eligibility is 10+2 with a minimum of 60% aggregate in PCM.

The direct admission in the second year of engineering is called lateral entry.
The basic eligibility is to have a Diploma engineering degree.
You may also have to appear for LEET exam if required.

For lateral entry B.Tech admission, you should complete Polytechnic Diploma or B.Sc in PCM with 45%. You can get direct admission in the second year of engineering.

You are in the first year of Diploma. Now, if you want to take admission, you can get admission in the first year, not in the 2nd year. If you have completed your Diploma then you can get admission through lateral entry.

Almost all the engineering colleges are offering lateral entry admissions in B.Tech. If you want the college list then mention your place of stay.
