Hello Abhijeet, Cutoffs in IIT or NIT are indeed dynamic. It all depends on the toughness if the question paper set for JEE Mains / JEE Advanced. It also depends on the perception of students about a particular branch. In some years mechanical branch is at top while in some other, electrical branch is at top. I will say that you should aim for scoring 70 percentile and above if you want to get confirmed admission in mechanical branch. Best wishes.

Hello Aarathi,
This college establishment in 1951 is affiliated to Anna University. As a result all admissions are now based on marks obtained in 12th exam. In addition the college has very high reputation and students prefer this to many other colleges. Due to this cutoffs is very high. But marks scored by students in class 12th show very wide variation and hence I am afraid it is not feasible to quite any figure. However, I will definitely say that you should aim for 80 and above percentile. Best wishes to you.

The cut-off is based on the average student, how did he write the exam and then it is divided into marks under several categories.
Good luck.

Hello Poojaa,
There is no particular cut-off score to get admission at Sastra University, Thanjavur. Your marks should be good enough that is better than all other applicants so that you can get admission.
All the best!
