Although engineering colleges prefer PhD for teaching roles but if you are M.Tech in CSE then you can teach CSE courses. However for long term career in teaching, you are advised to do PhD in CSE.

The minimum eligibility for doing an undergraduate program B.Tech in computer engineering is +2 science with physics, chemistry and maths. The selection is generally made on the basis of entrance tests like, IITJEE, AIEEE, BITSAT, JEE Mains, etc, conducted at both national and state level. If there are universities that accept candidates on merit basis, the criteria then is minimum 60% marks at higher & senior secondary level (10th & 12th) and minimum 60% aggregate in physics, chemistry & mathematics at senior secondary level. The best universities for B.Tech in CSE are :
- IIT, Delhi
-BITS PILANI, JAIPUR
-DTU, Delhi
-VIT
-UTM, Shillong

Dear Varakavi,
Let me be very honest here. The answer would be a 'no'. Free seats for international students are very hard to get, moreover your academic hardest till the 6th sem are not too impressive. If you can get at least a 9 on 10 with superb research activities and even publications you may be considered.

DTU admit students on the basis of JEE Mains score and from the next year, 40% weight-age for 12th marks will be abolished, so selection will be purely based on JEE Mains score.

Eligibility for GATE examination is a B.Tech/BE/AMIE or M.Sc. After 12th you can appear for JEE.

Yes, you can pursue BE in any branch after completing Diploma, but you will get admission in the first year. If you opt for B.E in the same branch or similar branch then you can get admission in the second year.
