Hello Pamela,
Yes, now that you have a BTech degree you are definitely eligible to seek admission in the management college offering MBA even if you have obtained admission for engineering via lateral mode. This is so since admission in 1st year and directly in 2nd are pari-passu with normal engineering course and hence you are equally eligible for admission in any stream of knowledge where graduation is the minimum eligibility criteria.
Best wishes to you for this admission.

Sure, it is possible to do that. You need to have scored a good grades in B.Tech of ECE Field and also needs to be clear with all the tics and tactics to be evolved in the field that is most ravishing and dealing with the equations. But, it differs from university to university. There are Entrance exam for some of the universities.
Rule of admission:
Any candidate who has obtained Bachelor degree in any subject and has qualified at least 3 courses each of one year duration or 6 courses each of one semester duration in Mathematics securing at least 45% marks in aggregate will be eligible to appear in the Entrance test.
Best of luck.

This is over and above the merit list of JEE Mains which student has to appear in. The basic criteria are year of passing your 12th marks scored in your 12th. I am attaching a link that will give you required information. http://jointseatallocationauthority.in/eligibility/

The only way you can truly understand and master the electronics and communication field is through practical work. Basics of electronics should be clear (first couple year's curriculum). I guarantee you'll face difficulties later on if you're not clear with basics. Start working on the latest techs of the field as soon as you can. With the pace that the technology is advancing, it is highly probable that you'll be taught something that has been replaced half a decade ago. (I was studying analog TV). To know what techs to choose, contact your final year seniors and alumni. Pick a faculty or two and make their professional life a nightm

First re-appear for boards, as no institute will take you on the basis of result which shows that you failed and also you should have a minimum of 60% aggregate to pursue engineering from any of the good institutes.
