Yes, you can apply for the PESSAT entrance exam even if you have completed your 12th from NIOS (National Institute of Open Schooling). The PESSAT eligibility criteria do not specify any restriction regarding the board from which a candidate has passed their 12th exam. As long as you meet the general requirement of passing your 12th (or equivalent) with at least 45% aggregate marks for the general category (40% for SC/ST candidates), you are eligible to apply.

In 2023, the last round closing rank was 10,752. B.Tech. in Civil Engineering: In Round 1 of 2024, the opening and closing ranks for home state male applicants were both 89,452. In Round 6, 2023, the General category candidates' final rank was 47,155. B.Tech. in Mechanical Engineering: In 2024, the last-round cutoff rank was 31,124. The JEE Main cut-off f

The LPUNEST exam for 2025 will have 80 multiple-choice questions (MCQs) with a total of 100 marks. Each correct answer will earn 4 marks, and there is no negative marking, meaning no marks will be deducted for incorrect answers. The exam will be divided into subjects, with subjects having 25 questions worth 4 marks each, and others having 20 questions worth 5 marks each. The total duration of the exam is 90 minutes (1 hour and 30 minutes). Candidates will be evaluated based on their performance in these objective-type questions, and the maximum score for the exam is 100.

In case of a tie in LPUNEST scores, the tie-breaker rule is used to determine the final ranking. It prioritizes candidates with higher marks in subjects with greater weightage, followed by those with higher marks in subjects with lower weightage, then higher marks in the English language section, and finally those with higher marks in logical reasoning. This ensures a fair ranking process.LPUNEST is an entrance and scholarship exam conducted by LPU for various undergraduate and postgraduate programs. Based on exam performance, candidates receive scores and ranks, which determine the scholarship amount they are eligible for.LPU's academ

Generally speaking, for a GATE score of 361, the chances for M.Tech in Structural Engineering at NIT Jamshedpur would depend on one's category admission and the cut-off marks for that specific year. For a general category student the cut-off marks for Structural Engineering generally are quite high and range closer to 401 marks in the successive years. On the other hand, if you are belonging to any of OBC, SC or ST categories, then you may be able to make it, cut-offs are lower for these categories.Of course, the admission is CCMT counseling based on GATE score, other aspects being availability of seats and competition using that
