The WBJEE cutoff for Pailan College of Management and Technology (PCMT) may differ each year, primarily because of the seats available, applications received, examination difficulty level, and other reason. Normally, the rank cut-off usually lies within 30,000 to 50,000 range for B.Tech courses in PCMT, but it may vary.

Students can apply for B.E./B.Tech course in Pailan College of Management and Technology (PCMT) without WBJEE. College accepts scores of JEE Main exams for admission. So, even if you didn't sit for WBJEE, you would still be considered eligible based on your JEE Main result. Further, most of the centers offer direct admission to students who satisfy the requirements, for instance, passing 10+2 or equivalent with at least 45% from the Science stream in Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics. Official websites or the college should be contacted to check on the latest admission details.

Candidates are permitted to take the JEE Main exam twice a year, in January and April. To allow for room for development, a student may take the test no more than six times in three years. For example, a candidate can take the JEE Main exam in the both sessions for the following two years if they start taking it right after finishing the 12th grade. While meeting qualifying standards, this policy assists students in the raising their test scores.
