It might be quite difficult to obtain a seat for Computer Science Engineering (CSE) in top-tier colleges if you have such a rank as JEE rank of 2.5 Lacs and OBC rank of 90k. However, there are good colleges where your chances of likely admission are higher. Here are some options you could consider:NITs (National Institutes Of Technology):You may not get into top universities like NIT Trichy or NIT Warangal, but other NITs such as NIT Patna, NIT Agartala or NIT Jamshedpur may have CSE available for general OBC candidates with your rank.IIITs (Indian Institutes of Information Technology):A few of these could have a seat for the CSE subje

Getting enrolled in the Computer Science Engineering (CSE) specialisation at VIT Bhopal is hard to get through Category I with a jot rank of 77654 in JEE Mains. It has always a high demand for Computer Science, and Category 1, the merit-based one, has a really high cutoff, especially for this branch.VIT Bhopal considers the JEE Main score along with the VITEEE score. So, while your rank does put you at the highest competency level for admission to CSE, you should still consider applying, just as to other branches of engineering or even consider the lateral entry in future years. It can also be good for checking the most recent cutoff tr

While you have a JEE Main rank of 370,127 and belong to the OBC (NCL) category; you will still be eligible to apply under the UGEAC (Undergraduate Engineering Admission Counseling) by the BCECEB in Bihar, which is meant for admission into government and private engineering colleges in Bihar through the JEE Main scores.Possibility of Getting Government College:It depends: Category Rank: OBC (NCL). Cut-offs for such categories will be low in comparison to the general.Preferred Branch: Core branches such as Computer Science and Electronics are the most competitive, while branches such as Civil or Mechanical may have lower cut-offs. Achieving only 79 percentile in the first session and 61 percentile in the second session of JEE Mains-2024 does not possess a ticket to NIT, under general counseling. Admission in NITs requires higher percentiles to get seats, usually more than 90 percentiles for reserved categories and generally more than 95+ purely for general categories depending on the branch and NIT.Options You May Explore:CSAB Special Round:Sometimes, lower ranked candidates may get seats in less preferred branches at newer NITs or in less competitive categories by the CSAB special round.State Quota:If the person belongs to a state with its own NIT, the home sta

With a JEE Mains of 355000 rank, you may only stand at ground zero options in Delhi-NCR, Pune and Bangalore for private universities or state-level engineering colleges that should have not so high cut-off admission criteria. This is the way ahead: Counseling to apply for:CSAB Counselling: All leftover seats following JoSAA, especially in NITs, IIITs and GFTIs which may list in a lower tier.State Counselling: For state-level engineering colleges where cut-offs might match your rank (Karnataka, Maharashtra, UP).Direct Application: to private universities and colleges which take in JEE Mains scores.Possible Colleges:Delhi NCR:Amity Unive

The qualifying marks for PWD (Persons with Disabilities) candidates in JEE Mains and JEE Advanced are the same as for general category candidates. However, the admission process for PWD candidates in IITs and NITs is different. In JEE Mains, PWD candidates are given a relaxation of 5% in the minimum qualifying marks in each subject. For example, if the minimum qualifying marks for a general category candidate are 75 marks, then the minimum qualifying marks for a PWD candidate will be 71 marks. In JEE Advanced, PWD candidates are given a relaxation of 10% in each subject. The cutoff marks for PWD candidates are generally lower than the cu

Some mistakes are minor, such as if in your application for JEE Mains 2024, you filled in "CBSE-i" instead of "CBSE". However, you should definitely correct it, and check if this can be done through the JEE Main portal. In case there is no such facility, try contacting the helpdesk team of JEE Main without delay. During document verification, one can explain the mistake with the true certificates. The fast action will ensure that really minor problems can also be avoided or even resolved before the problem arises in the exam or counseling.

A CRL of 482,000 in JEE Mains would not make it easy for one to get a seat in CSE or Civil Engineering at the prestigious government institutions in Madhya Pradesh. But students can try institutions like Maulana Azad National Institute of Technology (MANIT), Bhopal and Government Engineering College, Rewa for Civil Engineering as they do have a scope of chance, though competition may be tough. It might be possible for pvt. Colleges such as Bhopal Institute of Technology and Science, Institute of Science and Technology, Indore, and Amity University, Gwalior, to be a little lenient with their cutoffs, thus increasing the possibility of se

"Hi! With a JEE Main rank of 600895, getting admission to the B.Tech CSE (AI & ML) programme at KIET Group of Institutions (Ghaziabad) might be challenging, as it is a sought-after branch with higher cutoffs.Cutoffs:KIET typically admits students with ranks under 1-1.5 lakh for core CSE and AI & ML through the UPSEE/UPCET counseling (based on JEE Main rank).Alternative Pathways:You may explore management quota seats, where rank criteria may be relaxed but come with higher fees.Consider branches like IT or Electronics, which may have slightly lower cutoffs.Other Options:Look for private universities or colleges in UP with lower cutoffs
