Yes, as per the official instructions of JEE Advanced, candidates are advised NOT to wear charm/taweez, items containing metals such as ring, bracelet, earrings, nose pin, chain/necklace, pendant, badge,  brooch, clothes with big buttons. They are also advised to wear open footwear like chappals and sandals.

Yes, during the JEE Advanced exam, candidates are provided with rough sheets, commonly referred to as "scribble pads," for calculations and rough work. These pads are distributed at the beginning of each paper and must be returned to the invigilator after the exam.

Hi Shiksha, You can find the GATE 2025 subject paper codes on the official IIT Roorkee website. The codes are two-letter abbreviations assigned to each subject, such as 'AE' for Aerospace Engineering and 'CS' for Computer Science and Information Technology.Hope this information helps. The difficulty level is considered higher as compared to JEE Mains and other engineering entrance exam. JEE Advanced is considered difficult due to its marking scheme and unpredictable nature.

PwD candidates having disabilities with at least 40% impairment as applicable,  are eligible for one-hour compensatory time for each paper  in JEE Advanced. to avail the compensatory time limit, PwD candidates must fill and the submit the requisite form as provided in the JEE Advanced information brochure during JEE Advanced registration.Persons with less than 40% disability and having difficulty in writing,   are also eligible for one hour compensatory time for each paper. A PwD candidate can avail extra twenty minutes per hour of examination duration. This totals to 1 hour extra. In conclusion a PwD candidate gets a total of 4 hour to complete the exam whereas all other candidates get 3 hours per paper.

Hi Cephin, In the case of IHM Bangalore and its mention that NRI students can apply directly to the institute, it means that NRI candidates are not required to appear for the NCHM JEE (National Council for Hotel Management Joint Entrance Examination). Instead, they can apply directly to the institute through a separate admission process set by the institution.However, NRI students still need to meet the eligibility criteria and provide necessary documentation (like proof of NRI status and academic qualifications) to secure admission.Hope this information helps.
