Possibly, admission may not be possible in some of the reputed NITs (National Institutes of Technology) or IIITs (Indian Institutes of Information Technology), or might give admission very hardly to GFTIs (Government Funded Technical Institutes) through three branches- Computer Science or Electronics branch under JEE Mains 2024, having a CRL rank of 482483 and ST category rank of 9561.Although, you still have a chance with some institutes, slightly lesser competitive branches. The details are given below: 1. NITs: So needless to say, admission into the top NITs (like NIT Trichy, etc.) is almost impossible with a rank like yours. The on

If you scored 57% in 12th and 84%ile in JEE Mains, you can apply to the colleges which comes under JoSAA counseling process. going by your percentile score your expected AIR would be 1,50,000 – 2,00,000. Few of the colleges that this student may consider are National Institute of Technology (NIT) Warangal, NIT Surathkal, NIT Trichy for which the cutoffs begin from 70000 AIR to 150000 AIR. Other options are IIITs like IIIT Hyderabad, IIIT Bangalore and IIIT Allahabad with rank of 50000 to 120000 AIR. With a CRL rank of 139000 and an OBC category rank of 46193, getting admission to NIT (National Institute of Technology) would be something tough; this is because the branches such as Computer Sciences or Electronics are really sought after. But here are some things to consider:1. Branch Preferences:Better chances would be more likely in those branches of fewer competitions such as civil engineering, biotechnology, or environmental engineering.2. Female Quota:Several NITS now have a female reservation quota and this brings down the cut-off just a little for female candidates.3. State Quota:Getting into the home state quota for UP will

JoSAA counsellling makes it possible for you to get admission into NITs, IIITs, and GFTIs close to Telangana with a JEE Main CRL rank of 152000 and 96% in intermediate. The colleges that you might also wish to look at are: NIT Warangal, IIIT Hyderabad, IIIT Nuzvid, GFTIs – IIT Tirupati or IIT Palakkad. But the branch and college allotment depends upon the candidates rank, category and the number of seats available in particular branch and college. Of the total number of seats available in these colleges, half-half or nearly 60 percent of the seats are provided to students hailing from Telangana and Andhra Pradesh, respectively. Remem

That is why you cannot change your category from General to OBC in your JEE Main application form after the JEE Advanced paper. Under the JEE rules, candidates can avail of category change only during the JEE Main correction window but the correction window only opens for 2-3 days. Again, alterations cannot be made once the correction window has been closed. The reason behind this is that JEE Advanced is conducted after the JEE Main therefore changes in your category are not allowed after writing the JEE Advanced paper. About 27% of the seats are reserved for OBC candidates but for that you ahs to have applied at the time of JEE Main i

Yes, you can get admission to the B.E./B.Tech course at Aditya College of Engineering and Technology without JEE Main. The college accepts Andhra Pradesh EAMCET (Andhra Pradesh Engineering, Agriculture and Medical Common Entrance Test) scores for admission. If you have a valid Andhra Pradesh EAMCET rank, you can apply directly based on that. However, if you are from outside Andhra Pradesh or don't have an Andhra Pradesh EAMCET score, you might still be able to apply through management or spot quota seats, but it's always good to confirm specific details with the college's admission office.
