Some popular branches include: Computer Science Engineering, Electronics and Communication Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical and Electronics Engineering, and Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning. Branches with fewer seats, like Computer Science Engineering, may require a higher rank to secure a seat. The number of seats available for a specific branch may also vary by campus. For example, the Vellore campus

If you do not qualify for the LPU-NEST, there are alternative ways to gain admission to Lovely Professional University (LPU). LPU offers admission based on other entrance exams such as JEE Mains, CLAT, or through direct admission for certain courses, depending on eligibility criteria. For example, you can apply through your previous academic performance, such as your 12th-grade marks, or through other qualifying national exams, as per the programme requirements. Additionally, LPU provides a provision for direct admission to some programs if you meet the eligibility criteria based on your academic qualifications. First of all, understand the syllabus and pattern of the LPU NEST exam for Diploma students. The subjects of study are usually Mathematics, Physics, and English. Prepare your foundation knowledge about them by referring to your class notes and NCERT books. Solve previous year question papers and practice mock tests to improve your time management and problem-solving skills. LPU also provides preparatory study materials and online resources, so that students get ready properly. Regular revision, target study, and consistent practice will enhance the chances to score well and get through LPU.

Yes, the LPU-NEST entrance syllabus for the MBA in Tourism and Hospitality is similar to the general MBA syllabus, with a focus on basic knowledge in subjects like Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics. However, the specific emphasis may vary based on the course requirements. The entrance test typically includes sections on subjects such as General Knowledge, English Language, Logical Reasoning, and Quantitative Ability. With a GATE score of 232, you may opt for different institutes to pursue M.Tech programmes, though, again the eligibility varies depending on discipline and category. A few of them include University of Delhi, wherein M.Tech admissions also take place through GATE scores.

With a GATE score of 664 and an All India Rank (AIR) of 1364, there was a chance to compete in getting admission into IIT BHU for an M.Tech. program in AI, but competition can be stiff and this isn't guaranteed. Again, the cutoff varies yearly in M.Tech programs in consideration of the application process, number of vacant seats, and categorywise reservation. For a heavily competitive branch like AI, cutoff may be high too. Normally, candidates with a score in GATE ranging between 600 and 700 may go through further rounds like counseling. One should keep checking on IIT BHU official admission website for detailed cut off information.
