No, only a printed hard copy of the GATE hall ticket is accepted. Soft copies on electronic devices are not allowed and may lead to disqualification. The GATE admit card will be released on January 7, 2025 and can be downloaded using their enrollment ID and password.

Yes, carrying a printed colored copy of the GATE exam admit card is mandatory as it serves as an identification proof for the applicant. Without the GATE admit card, candidates will not be allowed to enter the exam center. Also, they must ensure that the hall ticket printout is clear and legible.

No, there is no fee for retrieving the GATE enrollment ID or resetting the password. The process is free of charge and can be done through the GATE office portal - gate2025.iitr.ac.in. The GATE 2025 admit card will be released on January 7, 2025 for all GATE test papers.

If you have forgotten your GATE enrollment ID, then you can retrieve it by "Forgot Credentials" option at the GOAPS portal - gate2025.iitr.ac.in and follow the instructions. You need to provide your GATE registered email ID  and mobile number to receive your enrollment ID in your email inbox. The GATE enrollement ID is a combination of Alphabets and Number, which is a unique identification number assigned to the candidates during the application process. It serves as an username to log in to the GOAPS portal. Candidates are advised to save their enrollment ID securely, as it is essential throughout the GATE exam journey.
