At SASTRA Deemed University, admission to the B.Tech programs, including Electronics and Communication (EC) and Information Technology (IT), is based on a combined score of 75% weightage from your Class 12 marks and 25% from your JEE Main score. With your 82.4% in Class 12 and an 80.99 percentile in JEE Main, your combined score would be around 82.05, which is a competitive score. While SASTRA does not have a fixed cutoff, this score increases your chances of getting admission to EC or IT, as these branches tend to have relatively high demand. For detailed information, it's best to check the official SASTRA admissions page.

Additionally, some seats are available under the management quota, which typically involves a higher fee structure. Diploma holders in engineering can also apply for lateral entry into the second year of a B.Tech program. For non-engineering courses, VIT has separate admission criteria based on academic performance or other entrance exams. The possibility of getting an NIT  in 100 marks is low but you can get it if you have state quota as well as your OBC category reservation. But there is still your medium level good chances of getting into nits. You can get medium level branches in lower NIT's.As top NIT'S have higher marks requirement of higher branches of CSE, IT, ECE.
