As a bio student, you can pursue a B.Tech in Food Technology without JEE Mains by applying to colleges that do not require the exam for admission. Some institutions offer direct entry or accept state-level entrance exams for B.Tech Food Technology. For example, colleges like Jadavpur University and various state-level universities might offer this course with alternative entry pathways.

To get admission to the B.Tech programs at SLIET University, candidates typically need to appear for the JEE Main exam, and the cutoff is determined based on their performance. The exact cutoff varies yearly depending on factors like the number of applicants and their exam performance. SLIET also considers scores from their own entrance exam, depending on the course, but JEE Main scores are a common route for B.Tech admission.
