It can be costly to pursue an M.Tech at the Jain Deemed-to-be University in Bangalore's Faculty of Engineering and Technology.The two-year M.Tech programme in Cyber Security at Jain University costs Rs. 420,000 in total, with an extra Rs.80,000 for housing. Moreover, Jain University and other prestigious FET-affiliated Bangalore colleges charge INR 1,050 4 for M.Tech admissions. As an example, the two-year PGP programme costs at IIM Bangalore come to Rs. 24,50,000, not including additional caution deposits and taxes.

The Faculty of Engineering and Technology (FET) at Bangalore has not yet released the latest cutoff information for M.Tech admissions for the 2024-2025 academic year. However, as the university is one of the top universities in Bangalore, the expected cut-off can be 100-120 marks out of 180, in COMEDK UGET. You must score as high as possible to get into the university.

The Faculty of Engineering and Technology at Jain Deemed-to-be University in Bangalore has somewhat okay track record for placements, for B.Tech the placement rate 54% and for M.Tech the placement rate is 10.64%. The highest package offered was 42 LPA (international) and 36 LPA (national) in 2023, followed by 21.5 LPA in 2024. The average package was 6.92 LPA in 2022-23 and 4.49 LPA in 2024. Infosys, TCS, Capgemini, Amazon, IBM, Microsoft, etc were the top recruiters. Overall, in terms of placements the college is average.
