Hi,
B.Tech or BE from India is preferred as you can apply to government jobs. If you have no plans of doing it, you may pursue it from Australia or any other country of your choice. Another point to keep in mind is the cost. The cost at IITs, NITs and IIITs is always cheaper than the private universities and placements are better too.

You can try top private engineering colleges in India where admission does not depend upon the JEE Mains score. These engineering colleges conduct their own exams. You can get admission by cracking these exams but please see the last date for filling up the forms because by now some colleges have stopped the filling the forms.
All the best.

Hello Llyasa,
Normally, private colleges fleece students on one pretext or other. I would strongly advise you to approach an advocate to find a solution.

US is an expensive destination and top universities are expensive. You may check state universities like Ohio State University, Arizona State University, Oregon State University etc. Please state if you are looking for Masters, if yes you must take the GRE.

Hello Vaisak, entry to engineering colleges is through KEAM. This is not connected with fees. Fees are normally charged by different colleges differently. This is based on very many factors including facilities offered by the college. All states are supposed to have a committee to decide fees that can be charged by private colleges. I will advise you to visit web page of the college where you intend seeking admission.
