Engineering in Bangalore

The fee structure of ComedK colleges is around 2 lakhs per annum excluding hostel fee. As Bangalore is not very much known for mechanical engineering, however, colleges like RVCE, MS Ramaiah, BIT, BMS and NIE have good placements.

Dayanand Sagar College of Engineering is an average college for engineering. So, you cannot expect more from this college.

These are the top most college for pursuing BE in Bangalore:

MSRIT

Placements: Placements were fine, but the package and the number of companies visiting the college can be improved.
The role mainly offered was the associate software engineer.
Microsoft, Capgemini, Wipro, Infosys and Ericsson were some of the main companies that visited the campus for recruitment.

BMS is a good college. RVCE is also a good college. Best wishes!

Both are good colleges but in my opinion, you should give first to VIT, Vellore as this year, this college is ranked 1 by MHRD.

It is good to hear that you are planning to do chemical engineering which is a core branch of engineering not run of mill CSE or IT. India has a very well developed chemical industry including petroleum and gas both in government and private sectors. It is a core sector with lots of government and big corporate houses support.
