This degree is a good undergraduate degree but not favored by most of the people due to the limited opportunities available to the students after finishing their degree. I have a lot many friends who have done B.Sc in biotechnology and other courses like B.Sc in biology, zoology, biochemistry, botany and many more. All of them have to go for Masters in life sciences and then further Ph.D. and furthermore, the population of students who are doing life sciences courses is increasing because most students are not able to get MBBS, BDS, BPT, BOT and other clinical courses.

You need to attempt JEE Mains and Advanced exams. After qualifying in Mains, you need to attempt Advanced.
There, you must get a rank from 1-5000 then you can study in IIT and that too engineering.
