The college doesn't conduct any entrance exams  but it considered the scores of exams like JEE., CET and other regional exams sometimes when there is less amount of seats remaining then in that cases very rarely does the college take some basic tests otherwise they just compare the boards and other exams scores/percentile.

Every degree granted by the MIT School of Engineering Pune is valid because the college has a university of its own which is well recognised and considered good, the college is autonomous. It is a member of MAEER's MIT Group of Institutions. Maharashtra Institute of Technology has been ranked 116 by NIRF 2022 for B.Tech programmes, and the school is certified by NBA.

The mess food here is great with a lot of options, also there are 3-4 mess in this campus you can opt for any one of them, the food here is made with absolute hygiene and tastes good and also has a lot of variety, overall you won't be disappointed in the mess food here. They keep changing the menus after some time intervals so that you don't get bored with the same food.
