Dear Urvil,
As per the American Education System, after 12th standard, you need to do 4 years of Bachelor's Degree- BS. And then after 2 year of MS. So, if you are going there to do Master's degree then yes you can complete your software engineering in 2 years.

Hi Shaleen,I must say that your budget is very low to study in USA, it is a very expensive place. What you have is just one year tuition fee. You have to arrange for funds either by applying for scholarship or take an education loan. In which college you can get admission is also tough to say, because it does not depend on the amount of money, you have, but on the eligibility criteria and if you qualify. You must have completed your class 12th with a first class and you must also take the SAT or ACT and TOEFL. You should visit some known university websites and learn about the admission processes and scholarships and start preparing th

Dear Akash,
MIT USA is really an exceptional target. The acceptance rate of MIT is only 5-6%. Means, only 5 or 6 were able to get admission out of 100 applicants from around the world. However, in class 12th, you need PCM. My suggested path is as follow; (1) Try to get admission in Indian Institute of Space Science and Technology Kerala for B.Tech Aerospace. (2) Have at least 5-7 years of work experience in core jobs. Without this, it will impossible to be there. (3) Prepare very hard for GRE. Arrange 2 LORs, 1 SOP and excellent Resume. Good Luck

Hi, focus on your academics and do well. Build your overall profile these two years, take part in extracurricular activities in addition to classroom activities. In short, you must be an all-rounder. If it is too difficult, do extremely well in your studies. If you are interested in Software Engineering, you may build software projects in school and similar activities. As part of the application process, prepare for SAT or ACT. SAT subject tests for top ranking universities. You must also take the TOEFL, however it can be waive.

Hi Ripunjay, almost every university accepts, however some universities give more preference to TOEFL than IELTS. You will find it on the websites. It is difficult to list out particular names out of almost 5000 universities in USA. See here and check the requirements!

Hi,
The application process must ideally start a year ahead before the intakes. Fall intake in the USA starts typically during August or September. And hence you should by now have started the process if you are targeting 2018. For UG studies, you must take SAT or ACT and TOEFL. Proactively, start researching for university admission requirements, deadlines and prepare accordingly. Though most of the top ranking universities have limited time. Now, you should find options allowing you to submit your applications by January or February too. Shortlist the universities as per your profile, the entry requirements, budget, etc. Follow the t
