Most of the companies will look for the candidates who has more than 55% through out the academic career. But some companies like ORACLE, INFOSYS and GOOGLE will be having 65% as cutoff. But these restrictions only applies if you apply for the job as a fresher. I would suggest you to complete any of the professional certification and join in a small/medium size company, Get the exposure of the work and how to implement your knowledge in real time projects. Then try to search job at MNC companies. If you are experienced professional MNC companies will not consider your academic marks. Now you concentrate on finding job in a organisation

There is no placement offers to the students provided by the institution. Other courses like engineering and MBA have placement programs for the students. But the college provides a 6 month internship course for the students which is not compulsory.

Actually Yes, as compared with Bangalore because Bangalore is like a place of IT hub and definitely those companies come to the campus and hire directly. But as compared with small cities those companies will be not there. So those private colleges are more valuable during placements.
