Placements: About 45% of the students got placed at different companies like Maersk, Shell, Hapag Lloyd, etc. There are also a lot of companies which are coming forward and giving students a lot of opportunities. The salary offered to them was from 15,000. The students were placed in various sectors also. Vels university is in Chennai. The best thing about the college is that you won't find a difference between the faculty member and students because the faculty members really help as they're one of our friends. Yes, a lot of jobs are there. Only you need a degree. Based on your degree, you will get the job. For example, if you will do electrical engineering, you will get a job related to electrical like machine works and all.

Thapar Institute of Engineering & Technology no doubt. They have ranked globally in THE & QS Rankings plus in NIRF rankings too. TIET has an excellent campus and also provides hostel facilities to its students (both boys and girls). The staff and faculty members is cordial and very helping. There are also playgrounds to meet the needs of extracurricular activities of the students. Placements are great with over 200 companies visiting campus.

Placements are fairly good for almost all departments. The top core companies do come for recruitments but the getting in part depends on the person's performance in the process.
