Hello Gopal,
No, I don't think so. KCG is a decent college for other engineering branches, but for civil engineering, there are no placements that are up to the mark.

Private sector is obviously good and you get heavily paid. But you don't have job guarantee, etc. Government sector jobs salary might be less, but people choose it for job surety, facilities, etc. In government jobs you can sometimes do fraud, cheat and earn illegally more than legal.

Hello King,
Both fields are good in their own work areas. For civil engineering, there's a bit problem for freshers because the infrastructure's companies needs experienced people. One have to take experience whatsoever the circumstances are. In electronics, nanoelectronics is on high demand. Electronics is better according to me for a fresher.
