You can prepare by scoring good marks while passing out of diploma school. Then seek lateral admission in college of your choice in your state offering Aeronautical engineering. Else based on diploma appear for JEE Mains and JEE Advanced to get admission in one of the IIT's for your fav course.

1. Look up at the records of the coaching institutes for past few years. See if the numbers are steady or fluctuating too much. If numbers are fluctuating too much it means that the coaching institute is not able to meet the requirements of everyone.

First of all, clear your basic concepts and it is very important to go through previous year JEE questions which will give you an idea and many of that questions will clear your misconceptions.

This is the real test for MBA, how did you manage your time? See, time management is essential for cracking CAT. According to me, what you can do is every day give your 2 hours for CAT preparation. Once you get the free time from your engineering lectures, don't start new topic for CAT but revise what you studied earlier because, in this panic situation, it is very likely that you forget either CAT concepts or your B.Tech concepts and both are necessary for top B-School. Remember, scoring 99%ile in CAT may not get you a prestigious MBA college, but you have to equally focus on your B.Tech score card as it has a lot of weight
