There are other institutes which are better for engineering than Kaziranga University. This institute is a fast growing institute. The highest package offered duringh the final placements of 2023 was INR 12 LPA. The average package offered to students pursuing  B.Tech was INR 4.26 LPA respectively. 

Amrita School of Engineering is situated in Coimbatore and is a part of Amrita Vishwa Vidyapeetham. The university offers around 33 undergraduate, postgraduate, and doctoral programs in Engineering. Amrita School of Engineering secured the 19th rank in India according to the NIRF Rankings in 2023. Student feedback highlights promising placement opportunities with leading companies such as Amazon, Oracle, Cisco, and Flipkart and other top firms offering a median salary ranging from 4 to 5 LPA.The institution consists of experienced teaching faculty and a conducive learning environment. However there many factors that need to be considered while taking admission in any college .The Faculty at Mody University is good as per students reviews from different departments.The placements lies between 2 LPA to 8 lpa, the lowest is 2 LPA and the highest till now it has been 8 LPA over the years (might vary). In the year 2019, The Mody University of Science and Technology was awarded as "Best Engineering College" by IIRF rankings.                  

OP Jindal University (OPJU) in Raigarh, Chhattisgarh, is a reputable engineering institution that offers a range of engineering courses, including B.Tech in Mechanical Engineering, Computer Science and Engineering, and others. The university is accredited by AICTE and UGC and has been ranked in various national rankings, including the NIRF and IIRF rankings.The university has a dedicated placement cell that offers internship opportunities to students from their third semester onwards. The college has a record of 70% of students being placed in good packages, with the highest package offered being 32 LPA by Amazon and the average package being 5 LPA. The university also offers lateral admission to Diploma holders.The admission to OPJU is based on the percentage of classes 10th and 12th or through entrance exams like JEE and state entrance PET. The eligibility criteria for B.Tech courses require candidates to have passed 10+2 with Science stream from a recognised board.The infrastructure of OPJU is generally good, with satisfactory hostel facilities, labs with good internet connectivity, and a well-stocked library. However, there may be some issues with the age of the computer systems in the labs and a shortage of classrooms due to the growing number of students.In conclusion, OPJU Raigarh is a good option for engineering education, with a good record of placements, a dedicated placement cell, and a range of engineering courses. However, the university could be more proactive in bringing companies for on-campus placements, especially for non-CSE branches.
