There are different rating agencies in the country and they rate colleges as per their criteria. These criteria are not identical and hence the list prepared by them also sees ups and downs between different colleges. From this year onwards, NTA the agency conducting the exam of JEE Mains, will be declaring results in percentile form and the AIR will be given only after second set of exam results are announced in April or May. Till then nobody can predict how things will move. Roughly about 3lakh students will be allowed to sit for JEE Advanced the exam which will determine the admission to IIT. Hence, patience till then. Whereas, Bachelor of Technology (B.Tech.) in Marine Engineering is a 4-year undergraduate course which is split into 8 semesters. Each year contains 2 terms, with each term a minimum of 6 subjects or more depending on the university.
