There's no such thing as best course. It depends on your interest in the subject. If you go by placements then CS and information science is the best. However, this field is little saturated. Many students are shifting toward the electronic field as it is an emerging industry and there's a lot to learn in it. Placements in ECE and telecommunication is also pretty good. Mechanical and civil engineering are evergreen branches. Students of mechanical engineering deal with machines and engines whereas civil engineering students deal with the structure and design of buildings and soil. Every branch has its own importance and it depends on you, what you are interested in.

Computer science engineering is a great field to study. As per my personal experience, I would suggest you to either opt for B.Tech in CSE with specialization in oil and gas or cloud computing. Both these specializations have a great scope in India and all across the globe.
While, the rising demands in oil and gas in the national and international market has increased growth in oil and gas industries. There is an increasing demand of professionals, who are equipped with cloud computing skills as organizations are increasingly switching towards automation.
I would recommend you to check the prospectus of UTM - Shillong as it offers industry aligned programs in CSE.

There are many job opportunities for an aerospace engineer. The Indian aerospace industry is growing rapidly and you will most likely be employed in government owned enterprises such as ISRO (Indian Space Research Organisation), DRDO (Defence Research and Development Organisation), HAL (Hindustan Aeronautics Ltd.), NAL (National Aeronautics Labs), etc. Many global airlines operators and aircraft companies are now planning to open their MRO- Maintenance, Repair and Overhaul facilities in India. A lot of prestige is associated with working in these organisations.You could also work for government and private airlines like Air India, Indian Airlines, Jet Airways, Spicejet, etc. Job opportunities also exist in civil aviation departments and the Indian Air Force.
