All fields of engineering are equally good for female students. However, females prefer CSE over automotive engineering because of more number of opportunities and comfortable working condition. Also, IT industry has more acceptances of gender equality and diversity.

You have to score above 200 to enter into NIT and IIIT. The fee structure in government colleges starts from Rs.40, 000 per annum, while in private, it starts from Rs.1.5 lakhs per year.

Hello Rakshanda,
The best engineering colleges by normal reckoning are any of the IITs. But, then there are specialty colleges viz. UDCT or PDPU, etc. which have their own merit. But, of course, IIT's always hold sway. To appear for JEE Mains you have to score 75 percent in your 12th. But, clearing JEE Mains with good rank will not get you into IIT. For this, you have to qualify JEE Advanced as well.

There are many government engineering colleges which accept IIT-JEE Mains score. You can opt for core branches like computer science, mechanical, and electrical. Computer science is in demand in current scenario and students are getting hefty placements in computer science. Mechanical and electrical will open opportunities in government sectors.
