The total number of seats in NIT and related institutes which accept JEE Mains examination score at the national level like IIIT etc. Is just about 40000. With OBC NCL reservation at 27%, the maximum seats that can I crew under this category is at just about 11000. So, you can SEE for yourself us to where you stand in this category. But do not lose hope since admission process many times throws up surprising results. Alternatively, you can think off taking 1 year off and utilising this period exclusively for preparing for this examination and hoping to get ranking under OBC NCL of about 5000 or better. From your name it appears that you are from Maharashtra and I hope you have appeared for MHT CET as that looks to me you are best B.Ed for seeking admission.
