Hello Khushi, for lateral entry into second year of four year degree course of engineering in Karnataka is enable wire and entrance test that is conducted by the Karnataka government. This is called Diploma common entrance test. I am attaching a link that will give you all the required information about this examination. Karnataka conducts and examination for lateral admission called Diploma common entrance test for DCET for short. Hello Mohini, if I may say so your ranking in this entrance examination for engineering students by Andhra Pradesh government is a bit on the lower side. In addition almost every student games CSE as the first choice. Due to this cutoff for this particular branch are quite stiff. Of course for the branch of ECE this may not be so and you will probably get admission. To help you in this I am attaching a link that will predict the branch and the college that you can get based on your performance in this examination. You can make and addition of MIT in their new campus at Loni also in your portfolio of probable colleges.
