No, there is a huge difference in Electronic and electrical engineer. If you are asked to fill electrical engineer, then you need to be electrical engineer, not the electronics engineer.

Both the courses are good. If you want to be Doctor, I suggest you to go for BAMS. As you have not specified any particular field of Engineering, It is difficult to answer.

Hello Shruti, Let me tell you something. Our degree is only a step in the ladder of our career. It many a times has no relationship with what we achieve in life. A mechanical engineer today is COO of ICICI Bank and an Aeronautical engineer is CEO of Infosys. Hence my strong advise is to pursue that subject that course which fascinates you without thinking too much of what will happen four years from today. Frankly speaking nobody can predict future.

Dear,
Marine Engineering deals with the ins and outs of construction and there after operation and maintenance of the Equipment room of the ship when on boarding. So, the Marine Engineer has to perform the core technical area of the ship on boarding. As the sea traffic is increasing sharply, the prospect of Marine engineering in India is really bright due to existence of long coastal regions where major seaports are becoming more busy day by day.
