Mechanical engineering are working in different department of refinery
below are the department and their role. Reliability department- its function is doing RCA, FMEA, IRRR, insuring mechanical availability of rotary equipment for trouble free operations of refinery. And most important part is condition monitoring that's include vibration analysis, lube oil analysis of rotary equipment. This profession is like doctor, but patience are machine. There's one thing I can absolutely say about mechanical engineering after practicing for almost 10 years now and getting licensed as a PE. It's needed now more than ever, and especially those that can build and work with their hands. It's true everything has a computer on it these days, but it really is becoming a lost art to understand how to take ideas and turn them into real objects that solve problems and that's exactly what MS can do.

Do not worry if you were unable to qualify JEE. There is vast scope of every field but it depending upon us how much we are giving our best out of best. Today's the aeronautical engineering is growing very faster and has very vast scope and provides a lots of career opportunities. So it is The best field.

Hello Juned,
Please do not worry about IIT. There are many better colleges if you really willing to learn. Or willing to do something new. If you want admission only in IIT, then you have to drop a year, or otherwise, you will have to take admission in another college. But think first about which course you want to do or what is your aim.

Obviously, Computer Science Engineering Course has a very bright scope in future. Because, modern era is totally based upon computer technologies like mobile, laptop, other electronic devices, etc. Even scientists launched vehicles without driver, they can controlled by computer.
