Always core branches have unlimited opportunities but the packages are less. If you are interested in opportunities then prefer core branches, else, if you prefer package, then go for CSE-related branches.

There are many state engineering colleges offering admission on merit-based. Just check few things like ROI, fee, placement record, student-faculty ratio and student reviews. Many colleges in MP, Rajasthan, and Uttarakhand accept merit-based admissions.

Economics engineering will help you to get job opportunities in the field of research analyst, people will get opportunities to write analysis reports. There are many companies which perform surveys about various government schemes. Companies like CRISIL, Moody's, and CARE are publishing such reports periodically. So, this is one of the opportunities for economics engineering students.

The minimum qualification to get a good job depends on the sector of job you are looking for, different sector requires different specialisation. If you are looking for IT industry job then Bachelors in Computer Science /Information Technology is a better option. If Finance/Banking is the sector you looking for Bachelors in finance is a better option. So, you must first select the sector in which you are aspiring for a job.

Hi Anoop,
I would like to tell you that the placements you get in the college may not be the best you can get, but I felt like they aren't just unworthy, you must check out the opportunities available for you beyond college placements and wisely opt. For any of them whether its college placements or off campus placements.

Dear Santhosh,
Happy to help.
Aeronautical engineering is deemed to be a great branch and has vast scope in the future. But here there is a contradiction about the performance. If you are really a fast learner and aspiring a job in skill based. It's a bit difficult. I want to include some points that after pursuing BE in Aeronautical Engineering, you may not surely go for aeronautical engineering but you can opt for other government services.
Hope this helps.

You only get placement when you have good skills (professional skills, communication skills, technical skills, personality etc). These are factors that decide your placements. If you study in NIT or IIT but you don't have all these skills, you cannot get placements. So placements do not depend on the college you study in. But yes, IIT and NIT colleges bring the best companies and their market value is more, so their packages go higher than other colleges. Thanks.
