Yes, there is a difference but executive MBA is for candidates who are working and it is short term MBA of 1 year program and MBA i.e. full time program of 2 years. If you are fresher, go for full time MBA as companies prefer candidates with full MBA.

Research Projects/ Relevant Internships: Depending upon your interest try for projects/company intern.
Develop/follow your interest: Here interest means having sound understanding in anything like politics, entrepreneurship, financial markets, automobiles, gaming, etc.
Focus on academics: Try to score as much CPI as possible (aim for 10).

Joining Google is not so easy. This company needs sharp and creative minds apart from marks and it also depends on your college's name. Generally, more than 60% marks in B.Tech from a reputed college of national importance and creative mind is needed by Google.
