With Indian Computer Software Industry losing it's prime position and likely job losses forcasted in industry in next few years, ECE is the best branch to opt as of now. Electronics is impacting every walk of human life and will continue. Similarly, Telecom industry is now preparing for next generation shift to 5G even before 4G roll out is over. IOT is the Technology of future. Therefore, I am the opinion Electronics & Telecom Engineering grads have good opportunities for growth in next 10 years.
However, if want to be safe, you can also opt for Mechanical Engineering the evergreen branch of engineering. It scope and opportunities are static for last few decades without any cyclical changes.

There are more than 6000 operational units in India currently. These units provide huge job opportunities for the candidates who wish to secure a career in rubber industry. This field is growing stronger with the increase in demand of tyres for cycles, automobiles and even aeroplanes. Moreover, rubber is also utilised in a number of other industries and car decoration. So a career in rubber industry is a lucrative option because of its extended scope both in India and also in abroad. The candidates in this field can also work in various other sectors such as agricultural industries, automobile industries, transportation companies, construction firms, and artificial limbs manufacture industries and so on.
