Hello Balkishan, it's very nice to hear from you that you are interested in doing your graduation cum PG after completion of your Diploma. Frankly speaking, lateral admission will take you to graduation course but NIT what you desire. I would strongly advise you to approach deemed to be universities which offer such integrated courses. They may even admit you in second year of 4 years graduation part of the course also. Best wishes to you.

You can opt for a B.Tech and M.Tech integrated course in any university which have a integrated cource in civil engineering. You must have a 10+2 with Science stream.

You should study well in your 11th and 12th ( PCM). Appear for JEE, IMUCET or other required entrance exam. IIT Madras, IMU, Andhra University, Hindustan Institute of Maritime Engineering are few well known colleges for marine engineering. Best wishes.
