Hello Shubhra, I can understand the angst I am the anxiety in the minds of a girl who has just passed 12th. There are varieties of fields explore and engineering should be only one of them. My sincere advice would be not to get influenced by peer pressure but you should choose your own career in a subject that you love and like. To tell you frankly more than 50% of the fresh graduate engineers are not finding jobs. Hence getting admission in an engineering course should not be considered as achieving everything in life. I hope that you fine the correct subject which you love and like and finally make a career in this subject. Best wish

Admission in any programme depends on qualifying the Eligibility criteria for that programme. Qualifying the Eligibility criteria you can join the programme. I do not know about other colleges but I can surely give you the idea about LPU. Being an alumnus of LPU I would prefer LPU. LPU focuses on the overall growth of the students. LPU is one of the best private universities in the country with world-class infrastructure, modern facilities and highly qualified faculty. It is a good branch. It has some of syllabus of mechanics also. But, I will consider you, if you are getting (MCE) branch I. e mathematics and computing, then go for it, because in DTU, there are better placement opportunities. But, PAI is also a very good branch. If you are interested, then go for it.

Hello Ankit. In Indian context, you can pursue any professional course like CA/CMA/CS. But it would take more than 2 years to complete. Alternatively, you can pursue certifications like
1) CFA Chartered Financial Analyst
2) CPA Certified Public Accountant
3) FRM - Financial Risk Manager
These are global certifications and hence have pervasive application. Feel free to contact me for more information. All the best !
