Dear Ben, Well, there can be many aspects to be considered while choosing a branch (stream) for B.Tech. You have to choose the stream as per your interest. No branch is less or more important, each of them has its own importance, it solely depends on you, in which stream you want to make your career. In Bangalore The Oxford college of engineering has offering good education related to mechatronics. The department has qualified staff from both mechanical, mechatronics, electronic engineering. The infrastructure is good. Each semester results are good with number of first classes and ranks. Pavement cell is also active. As on today one specific technology is not so useful. Mechatronics is a combination of electronic, electrical, mechanical and computer Science. In industrial scenario automation is the prime concern with reducing human intervention.
