Engineering admissions in Pune are generally taken in a yearly cycle. The major intake usually takes place between June and August. This is in sync with the general academic calendar of most institutions. There is no official word at present that indicates engineering colleges in Pune will undertake biannual admission in January or February 2025. The admission process for the 2024-2025 academic year should be the normal one, wherein entrance exams such as JEE Main and MHT CET remain the main parameters for admission.

It's important to note that the difficulty level of the exam is not influenced by the particular IIT conducting it. Furthermore, the exam's difficulty is not necessarily dictated by trends from previous years. Ultimately, the difficulty level is shaped by the level of preparation and understanding of the students taking the exam, as well as the opinions of experts and students alike. The perceived difficulty level of the JEE Advanced exam is subjective and can vary from person to person. What one candidate finds challenging, another may consider manageable, depending on their individual preparation.
