Generally, for an EWS category, the cutoff is slightly lower than the general category, but with your rank, it might be challenging to secure a seat in a high-demand branch like Computer Science Engineering. However, every year, cutoffs can vary based on the number of seats available and the overall competition. Hi,With an 88.4% in Class 12, your CRL rank of 188402, and an EWS rank of 30668, securing a seat in B.Tech CSE at GEC Palamu might be difficult, as CSE typically has higher cutoffs. However, for the EEE branch, you have a better chance, especially with the EWS category, as it may have slightly lower cutoffs. It's important to check the official updates and counseling details to get a clearer picture of your chances based on the competition and seat availability. All the very best!
