That is why you cannot change your category from General to OBC in your JEE Main application form after the JEE Advanced paper. Under the JEE rules, candidates can avail of category change only during the JEE Main correction window but the correction window only opens for 2-3 days. Again, alterations cannot be made once the correction window has been closed.
