BFIT Group of Institutions is not in the list of top engineering colleges in the country. Though it is well-known in Uttarakhand and offers undergraduate and postgraduate engineering courses in B.Tech, etc., it is not likely to be ranked in the top NIRF or in other prominent institutions.

BFIT Group of Institutions is pretty good for doing B.Tech in Computer Science Engineering or CSE. The college provides a decent curriculum that includes industry-oriented training; therefore, students get out of the campus with lots of practical skills. Faculty members are dedicated, and various opportunities for workshops, internships, and more tech-related events are present for the students.

With a GATE score of 664 and an All India Rank (AIR) of 1364, there was a chance to compete in getting admission into IIT BHU for an M.Tech. program in AI, but competition can be stiff and this isn't guaranteed. Again, the cutoff varies yearly in M.Tech programs in consideration of the application process, number of vacant seats, and categorywise reservation. For a heavily competitive branch like AI, cutoff may be high too. Normally, candidates with a score in GATE ranging between 600 and 700 may go through further rounds like counseling. One should keep checking on IIT BHU official admission website for detailed cut off information.

Jaya College Engineering and Technology in Avadi is normally having a placement percentage that ranges between 60 and 70 percent. However, the placement rate is subject to change due to market conditions and students' performance during placement drives. The college has a strong network with various industries which helps students get placed, but it would be good to check the latest figures from the placement cell of the college.
