Yes, you can attach your EWS certificate in the MPDTE (Madhya Pradesh Diploma Technical Education) counseling even if you mentioned the general category in your JEE Mains application. However, during the counseling process, you need to ensure that the category you're applying for is correctly reflected in the documents you provide. It's advisable to confirm with the MPDTE counseling authorities whether you can switch categories and submit the updated documents.

Securing a place in SASTRA University may pose some challenges with a 64 percentile in JEE Mains and 77% in your CBSE board exams. Admission is usually very high on JEE Mains score for direct admissions due to the specific standard set by the university, but it may be possible to gain admission through the CBSE board for direct counseling. The eligibility in this case will depend on the cutoffs which change for each academic year. So, it is better to either check out its official admission site or contact them for directed advice.

You might have a shot in minority colleges in Mumbai like these if you have a Catholic minority status and an MHT CET score of 58.  1. Fr. Conceicao Rodrigues College of Engineering (CRCE), Bandra. 2. Xavier Institute of Engineering, Mahim. 3. St. Francis Institute of Technology (SFIT), Borivali Minority students have places reserved for them at these colleges. Use the minority quota and the Centralized Admission Process (CAP) to increase your chances.

You also have to satisfy the eligibility criteria as defined by the institute and qualify in the relevant entrance exams like JEE Main or state-level exams. Mostly for a B.Tech in Aerospace Engineering from the Madras Institute of Technology (MIT), admission is done through the TNEA (Tamil Nadu Engineering Admissions). In other words, it considers HSC board marks in the state of Tamil Nadu itself. GUJCET is not accepted. If you are from Gujarat, then you have more options of applying under the NRI/management quota or other national level tests such as JEE Main.

You have got a descent rank but it would not be sufficient to fetch you a integrated Mtech seat under category 1 or 2 at Vellore campus of VIT. You can possibly get it in 3rd category but chances of it are slim as seats are limited and mentioned course is most common choice in integrated program. The best possible options are:Integrated CSE at VelloreIntegrated CSE with specialisation in Data Science at VelloreIntegrated CSE at Chennai (category 2)Integrated CSE with specialisation in business system at Chennai (Category 2)Hope it helps!
